Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Wednesday paid glowing tributes to the outgoing Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar for his meritorious services in furthering the cause of Pakistan's foreign policy during his 40 years long and distinguished career as a diplomat. Riaz Khokhar made a farewell call on the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister House here.

The Prime Minister said that Khokhar played a pivotal role not only in formulating the country's foreign policy but also in realising its goals and objectives.

Shaukat Aziz said Khokhar made a singular contribution towards enhancing Pakistan's standing and stature in the comity of nations. "The outgoing foreign secretary served the country with honour, devotion and distinction," he added.
